What Does the wig Look Like Straight Out of the Package?

Straight out of the package, the first thing that stands out is the volume. The curls are big, layered, and full, while the textured fibers help create the fullness that gives this style its personality. This isn’t a sleek, silky wig—and that’s a good thing.

The texture is actually important to achieving this particular look. A silky synthetic wig would have a much harder time creating the same amount of volume and body. The bangs were a little longer than I wanted initially, but they were easy to adjust with a small trim.

I also didn’t feel the need to do extensive plucking or customization. The overall style is already heavily pre-styled, so most of the work was simply cutting the lace and adjusting the bangs.

The Bangs

The bangs are one of the defining features, and they’re also my biggest criticism. The density of the bangs is great, but they arrived a little longer than I preferred. Fortunately, I didn’t have to cut off much to get them where I wanted them.

My bigger issue is that the bangs feel slightly flatter and straighter than the rest of the hair. The rest of the wig has so much curl, texture, and volume that I would have loved for the bangs to have a little more fluff and movement to match.

A small trim definitely helps, and using a curl former could potentially give the bangs more shape and help them blend better with the overall look.

This is probably one of the easiest statement wigs to customize because the majority of the styling is already done for you. The style comes pre-shaped with its curls and bangs, so you don’t have to spend hours trying to recreate the look yourself.

For this installation, the main steps were:

1. Add a little lace tint.
2. Cut off the excess lace.
3. Trim the bangs.
4. Put the wig on.
5. Adjust the placement.
